Welcome to Hornung Red Angus, located in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. Established in 2002 when Andy bought his first Red Angus heifer. From there, his passion for the breed continued to grow. Andy had the opportunity to manage a few cow calf operations, and in 2009 he and his wife Alisa decided to focus directly on building their Red Angus herd. Now along with their daughter Addyson, they focus on raising phenotypically sound cattle that will work in any operation. They continue to build their herd, along with the relationships that they have with their customers and fellow breeders.

Hornung Red Angus strives to breed quality Red Angus cattle to fit a wide range of cattle producers, from seedstock producers to commercial cattlemen. They strictly use AI and ET to help advance their genetics.

Cattle are offered for sale throughout the year by private treaty. Bulls are consigned to the Badgerland Bull Sale that takes place on the second Sunday in March. Females are consigned to the Females of Fall Sale that takes place on the second Saturday in November. Visit the cattle sales page to view the cattle being offered in upcoming sales.

Freezer beef is available throughout the year. You can purchase a quarter, half or a whole beef. Contact us for more information and availability.
